Terms of sale and licence

These terms cover the purchase and use of Position Size Calculator and Position Size Calculator Pro (together, “PSC”), custom studies for the Sierra Chart trading platform, made by 10868582 CANADA INC. (“we”). Payment is handled by Stripe through its Link service, which acts as the merchant of record for the transaction: Link charges your card, collects any applicable sales tax, and sends you the receipt. The software and its licence come from us. By completing a purchase you agree to these terms and to Link’s purchase terms shown at checkout.

1. What you are buying

A digital file: a compiled Windows 64-bit DLL for Sierra Chart, plus access to the online documentation. Nothing is shipped. The file is made available for download on the confirmation page and by email immediately after payment.

PSC is a calculator and drawing tool. It does not place, modify or cancel orders, does not connect to any broker or data feed, and does not send data anywhere.

2. Licence

On payment we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the edition you bought on computers that you personally use for trading. One purchase is for one trader.

You may not:

  • share, sell, rent, lend, sublicense or otherwise redistribute the file or any download link;
  • decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or modify the file, except where the law expressly permits it;
  • remove or alter any product name, notice or identifier in the file;
  • use the file to build a competing product.

All intellectual property in PSC remains ours.

3. Requirements

PSC requires the 64-bit Windows build of Sierra Chart. It was built and tested on version 2800; the SDK it compiles against declares support back to version 2155. It relies on the chart's Tick Size and Currency Value Per Tick settings being correct for the instrument shown. You are responsible for checking those settings and for the figures you act on.

4. Price, payment and delivery

Prices are shown in US dollars before tax. Sales tax, VAT or GST is calculated and added at checkout based on your billing address, and is collected and remitted by Stripe as merchant of record. Your card statement shows LINK.COM* followed by our name. We never see or store your card details. Delivery is complete when the download link is made available to you, which happens automatically on the confirmation page and by email to the address you gave at checkout. Download links expire and can be re-issued at any time from the recovery page.

5. No refunds

Because PSC is a digital product delivered instantly, we do not offer refunds or exchanges. The documentation, the interactive demonstration on the home page and the list of known limitations are published so that you can evaluate the product before paying. If the study fails to load or run on a supported Sierra Chart installation, contact us and we will work with you until it does. Because Stripe’s Link is the merchant of record, Link applies its own consumer-protection rules and may, at its discretion, refund a transaction within 60 days of purchase; that is Link’s decision, not a right under these terms. 6. Updates and support

Bug fixes and updates to the edition you bought are provided free of charge, by a fresh download link sent to your purchase email. Support is provided by email through the contact form, on a reasonable-efforts basis. We may stop developing or supporting PSC at any time; your licence to the version you have continues.

7. No warranty; not advice

PSC is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. It performs arithmetic on values you enter and values read from your chart. It is not financial, investment or trading advice and does not guarantee any result. Trading futures and other leveraged instruments carries substantial risk of loss; every decision you make remains yours.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including trading losses, lost profits or lost data, arising from the use of or inability to use PSC. Our total liability for any claim relating to PSC is limited to the amount you paid for it.

9. Trademarks

Sierra Chart is a trademark of Sierra Chart Software. TradingView is a trademark of TradingView, Inc. PSC is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by either company.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Nothing in them limits rights you have as a consumer under laws that cannot be excluded.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force when you paid applies to your purchase. Questions go through the contact form.
